Reincarnation and Karma: A Lecture for Parents
Two Lectures Given by Eugene Schwartz
at Green Meadow Waldorf School, Chestnut Ridge, NY
Over the opposition of many of his colleagues, who felt that this subject would "scare people away," Eugene presented Rudolf Steiner's teachings about Karma and reincarnation with depth, clarity, and humor. This is one of the most succinct and stimulating presentations about these important subjects to be found in the English language. (And, by the way, not one family left the school.)

Our Four Births / Our Four Deaths
Four Lectures Given by Eugene Schwartz
at Camphill Soltane, Nantmeal, PA
Eugene examines the little-known revelation of Rudolf Steiner that the human being had not one, but four umbilical cords, each connected to and nourished by the fourfold nature of the biological mother. And what about adopted children? Or children whose mother dies while they are still young? And is there a complementary severance of our connection to these higher bodies when we die? All of these questions — and many more — are taken up in these four lectures.

Anthroposophy and Mormonism
A Lecture Given by Eugene Schwartz
in the South Jordan Library, South Jordan, Utah
This is the first-ever public lecture on the subject of Anthroposophy and Mormonism. Invited by a group of Mormons interested in the work of Rudolf Steiner, Eugene gave a comprehensive overview of Steiner's life and work. He also spoke movingly of the relationship between the Steiner's mission and the mission of Joseph Smith, the founder of Mormonism. Please Note: This lecture was recorded by an audience member and its sound quality varies; nonetheless, all of the content is audible and well worth listening to.

The Karma of Education
Four Lectures Given by Eugene Schwartz
at Rudolf Steiner House, London, UK
In these lectures, given at the invitation of the St. Michael Steiner School in South London, Eugene explores the multifarious descriptions of life after death given by Rudolf Steiner. He traces the progress of the human soul and spirit through the “planetary spheres” as the consequences of one life become the foundation for the next, and he pays special attention to the pedagogical ramifications of this modern understanding of Karma. Of Prophets and Profits:
Navigating Otto Scharmer’s Theory U
A Lecture Given by Eugene Schwartz
at Anthroposophy NYC
In this lecture, the third in a series entitled “Steiner & Sons,” Eugene explores the organizational theories of Otto Scharmer, an MIT professor and renowned corporate consultant whose roots lie in Anthroposophy. Navigating a clear course through the complexities of Scharmer’s demanding language and concepts, Eugene relates contemporary corporate life and its challenges to the ancient Mysteries and links modern businessmen to pre-Christian Initiates finding their way in a world of entirely new conditions. Scharmer’s “futuristic” approach, when seen in the light of Rudolf Steiner’s cosmology, is presented as a harbinger of Michaelic transformation.

In the Midst of Life: the Mission of Death in Our Time
A Lecture Given at the Renewal Conference,
Wilton, NH
Although Rudolf Steiner spoke frequently about the importance of understanding the role of death -- and the Dead -- this subject remains perennially unpopular among American anthroposophists. Eugene explores Steiner’s often surprising and sometimes counter-intuitive indications about the nature of life after death, and suggests how much help they may provide us as we face the challenges of modern life.
